Most of these matches have been well covered in cricket literature. The first of these (Durban, 1939) had England making 652/5 while chasing 696. They had to leave because of their travel arrangements. The second (Kingston, 1930 had the West Indies at 408/5 while chasing 835 when the teams had to leave.
