Continuing from the last post, following the England-West Indies Test series ending in September 2017.
Most dismissals (25 or more):
DL Murray has the most dismissals, with Dujon close behind. Dujon played two Tests as a non-keeper, but did not take any catches there. The most catches by non-keepers are by Lara (45) and Sobers (40). Ames of long ago has the most stumpings (11). The most stumpings by a WI keeper is 8 by Walcott, who kept in relatively few Tests.
Best innings fielding (5 or more dismissals):
5 catches by various keepers, with no stumpings. The best by a non-keeper is 4.
Best match fielding (6 or more dismissals):
The lesser-known CO Browne has the record here, while Walcott has the most stumpings. Three non-keepers have taken 6 catches.
Best dismissal rates (Minimum 20 innings, 0.800):
Jacobs and Dujon have the highest rate here, with Hammond having the highest among non-keepers.
Overall (see criteria):
Sobers at the top is understandable, although the next two are a little surprising. Holding seems to have been fond of England’s bowling (as well as dismissing their batsmen). Constantine of the olden days gets in, ahead of Botham who had a relatively bad time against the West Indies.
Match performance (At least one fifty and one 5wi):
A long list, starting with Constantine and ending with Stokes, with recent players Gayle and Dwayne Bravo before him. Botham appears twice, in a series which his team lost 5-0.
