Hope you have read the first part.
The fielding and all-round records include a number of world Test records.
We now move to Fielding, starting with the most dismissals (15 and above):
The first few names are on expected lines. Kirmani has the most stumpings (11) followed by PK Sen with 7 (although he is not in the above table). Among non-keepers, the most catches are by Gavaskar (35) and Dravid (30).
Innings fielding (5 dismissals and above):
RW Taylor still has a share in the world Test record of 7 dismissals in an innings.
Among non-keepers, Yajurvindra Singh has the most catches (5). He still has a share in this world Test record, and is the only one to take 5 catches in an innings on debut. PK Sen has 4 stumpings, which was a share in the world Test record until 1987-88.
Match fielding (6 dismissals and above):
RW Taylor’s 10 dismissals were then a world Test record. PK Sen again has the most stumpings (5) though he does not appear here. That was also a world Test record until KS More surpassed it in 1987-88.
Yajurvindra Singh with 7 catches as a non-keeper had a share in the world Test record until AM Rahane recently surpassed it. But he still holds the record for the most catches by a non-keeper on debut.
Highest dismissal rate (minimum 20 innings, 0.500 and above):
The first few names are predictable, while Solkar and Dravid have the highest dismissal rates amongst non-keepers.
All-round performances (overall) with criteria given below:
Botham and Mankad lead with Ashwin swiftly moving up. Broad, Moeen Ali and Jadeja are also here.
All-round match performances (minimum fifty and 5wi):
Several instances of 100/5wi as well as 50/10wm, including Botham being the first to score a century and take 10 wickets in a match. JK Lever is the only one to score a fifty and take 10wm on debut.
Also note that the latest entrant RA Jadeja is the only one in all Tests to score a fifty, take 10 wickets and take more than 2 catches. B Kumar made a 50/5wi in successive Tests.
