Headed by Babar Azam, with the next two (Kohli and Gill) some distance behind.

Headed by Pathirana with 11, with Siraj, Afridi and Wellalage just behind with 10. No one took more than one five-for.

Best innings bowling: (including all 4wi or better)

Headed by Siraj with 6-21 in the final, with K Yadav and Wellalage also taking 5-fors. Also note Pandya’s 3-3 in the final.

Headed by K Mendis and M Rizwan with 9 dismissals each. The most by a non-keeper is 4 by Fakhar Zaman.

6 occasions by keepers, including 2 by KL Rahul.

Two instances, with the upcoming Wellalage having the better performance.

Asia Cup 2023-results

The tournament ended in an anticlimax when India easily defeated Sri Lanka in the final on Sep 17.

The first 4 positions can be seen from the Super 4 table:

Afghanistan and Nepal made up the numbers.

When Sri Lanka was dismissed for 50 in the final, it sparked a storm of queries about the lowest ODI scores. It is some distance above the record of 35. I will make a separate post for this.
